JOB PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY:

 The primary result expected from the Production Scheduler position is to schedule and manage production to provide product on-time to meet customer needs and to ensure that the company operational needs are met, considering price, quality, and delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Successful interface with ERP systems – Preferred prior experience with ERP Systems.
  • Experience in Production scheduling
  • Experience and efficient in MS OFFICE
  • Job creation and management
  • Inventory management: cycle counts, year end inv count tasks
  • Support to warehouse layout set-up, maintenance, visuals etc.
  • Support and backup-up for shipping, receiving, customer service support.
  • Continue focus on arm density increase
  • Other projects and duties as needed
  • Good communication skills internally and externally
  • Support and help team members’ development in Redline cultural behaviors

PREFERRED and REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: HS Diploma and/or college degree preferred

Experience and/or Training: 2-4 years of prior scheduling experience preferred

Licenses/Certificates: No requirements

Technology/Equipment: Demonstrated knowledge in the use of current technology, Microsoft office products, and other manufacturing software

PHYSICAL and MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • This position spends most of the time sitting and is expected to walk in a plant environment.
  • It is necessary for this position to occasionally climb stairs throughout the day.
  • 25 lbs. occasional lifting.
  • Manual dexterity is required to perform normal day to day functions.
  • Must demonstrate patience to successfully work through frustrating challenges and always present oneself in a calm, professional manner.
  • Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
