Ready to Make the Switch from Your Plastics Molder? We’ve Got You.

Has your molder let you down one too many times but you’d rather stay where you are at and avoid the daunting switch? Have no fear, Redline is here!

Learn about our Step-by-Step Process for a Painless Transition

Step 1: Kickoff Conversations

No guesswork here. We sit down with your team and get crystal clear on what you need — from performance goals to appearance requirements. You tell us what success looks like, and we’ll start shaping the path to get there.

Material Matchmaking

Not all plastics are created equal. UV, flame resistance, chemical exposure, strength — whatever your part has to face, we’ll match it with the right resin or sheet. Because the last thing you want is your part tapping out when the real world gets tough.

Step 2: Prototypes & Proof

Why gamble on a full tool when you can see it in real life first? We’ll prototype, tweak, and validate until everyone’s nodding in agreement: “Yep, this is it.” Our large 3D printing capability gives you the customer the freedom and flexibility to make sure that what you want to build will actually work for you.

Step 3: Address tooling needs

Do you need new tooling? No sweat. When it’s time to cut steel, we’re not messing around. We work with our tooling partners to ensure they build them rock-solid. We want your tools to last, which is why we are very picky on who makes your tool, and how they make it.

Existing Tooling – Send Us Your Tool

Here’s where it gets real. Once we’ve aligned, ship us your mold. Our team will:

  • Inspect it inside and out
  • Document its condition
  • Recommend and perform any necessary repairs or modifications
  • Clean it up
  • Prepare and certify it for production

Step 4 Quality Obsessed

Every part gets checked. Fit, finish, thickness, performance — if it’s on the list, it’s getting inspected. We don’t ship until it’s right. Period. So with your new or existing tool that is certified for production, we then:

  • Hook it to one of our machines
  • Run a sample order (or a small quantity of your production order)
  • Submit those parts to our Quality group
  • Review with you and your team

Step 5 Final Revisions to the Design that Works (and Works Hard)

This isn’t design for “someday.” This is Design for Manufacturability… TODAY. After reviewing quality with you in detail, we tweak to make sure we get it just right.

  • We fine-tune wall thickness, critical dimensions, flatness, and surface defects.
  • We call out where strength matters most.
  • We make it fit YOUR needs.
  • We make sure your part looks great and functions like a beast.

This way, you’ll know right away that your tool is ready to perform at Redline. No downtime. No surprises.

Step 6: Full Production & Beyond

Once you’re live, we don’t just walk away. We track, measure, and refine. Lower scrap rates? Faster cycles? Cleaner finish? That’s the kind of stuff we geek out over.
