The “Best Places to Work” program from Plastics News allows North American plastics processors and suppliers to get feedback on their employment practices, policies, culture, and benefits. Included in the detailed submission requirements is a confidential employee survey conducted by a third party. The annual survey and awards program is managed by Best Companies Group, a Harrisburg, Pa.-based research firm that has spent more than a decade administrating data and identifying exceptional places to work in several industries.

Nikki Paider, human resources manager for Redline Plastics commented, “We want to know how our workplace stacks up to other similar companies, and it’s important that we get feedback to tell us if we are on track. Redline Plastics has managed to rank among other outstanding plastics processors as a “Best Place to Work” in 2021, 2022, and now in 2023.” Redline Plastics CEO Chuck Webster notes, “It is great to be recognized with this award, but it’s even better to know that our team feels that we have a positive work environment.”

What factors do Redline employees like about their employee experience? “They tell us that it’s things like flexible schedules, awesome shift leadership, and the opportunity to earn bonuses for meeting goals that make Redline a positive place to work. Not to mention, we have a clean, bright, and comfortable facility, which not every manufacturer can offer to their team,” says Redline Plastics President Nick Murray.

Maybe most importantly, it’s those people you work with every day that can make or break your work experience. Paider says, “One of our cultural behaviors is to “Recognize Awesome” when we see it… we know that our employees are the ones we count on to “Be the Face of Redline” and get our customers the products they need and get them on time. We know we are lucky to have an exceptional group of staff that make things happen… and are also friendly and dependable towards the people they work with.”

Redline Plastics President Nick Murray and CEO Chuck Webster will be on hand to accept the award at the annual Plastics News Executive Forum in Clearwater Beach, Florida February 28th – March 3rd this year.
