The Redline Plastics team is proud to announce that the company has been named a finalist for the prestigious “Processor of the Year” award for 2022 from Plastics News. Processor of the Year candidates are judged on seven criteria: financial performance, quality, customer relations, employee relations, environmental performance, industry/public service and technological innovation.
The Processor of the Year Award is the top award a company can win in the North American plastics industry. To date, only 27 companies have ever held the title. Redline Plastics is a relative newcomer to the processor scene. Founded in 2018, Redline Plastics is one of the most rapidly-growing rotational molding companies in North America, and is also a well-known supplier of vacuum-formed plastic and industrial cut and sew products. Since the company’s founding it has made substantial additions to its equipment and personnel to add capabilities and capacity, including a facility expansion from 25,000 ft3 to 220,500 ft3.
Redline Plastics President Nick Murray reflects on what has made Redline Plastics stand out in a field of established companies: “It comes down to people. What Redline has demonstrated this year is a deliberate focus on our customers, our employees, and our community. It’s this combination of operational excellence and a growing focus on outreach that has gotten us to this round of finalists.” He notes that he and Redline Plastics CEO Chuck Webster are extremely proud of the entire team for earning this well-deserved nomination.
The winner of the award will be announced at the annual Plastics News Executive Forum in Clearwater Beach, Florida February 28th – March 3rd this year. More information about the award can be found at www.plasticsnews.com.
